Our clothes exchange was a big hit. We all felt good about recycling and giving any remaining clothes to the Salvation Army. To top it all off we collected for the Kids First Foundation. After all, it’s all about the kids!
It was so wonderful to share my daughter’s last marching band performance at Mira Costa with my au pairs.
Our local Manhattan Beach fire-fighters very kindly gave us a tour around the fire-station. They then explained the most common causes of accidents and fires in the home and the best ways to avoid them.
The au apairs enjoyed getting to meet and greet each other. Sharing favorite ice-creams was an added bonus. Chocolate peanut butter was the favorite flavor.
We waited and we were rewarded with the sighting of 2 whales.
We welcomed our new au pairs and had fun getting to know each other. The yummy potluck helped alot too.
We were having so much fun, I forgot to take photos until right at the very end of the concert when most of the people had already left.
I loved the enthusiasm and strategies they brought to this activity.
We had a great discussion on how to prevent children from having access to poisonous substances which are found in our homes.
We tried International food and drinks right here in our own back yard. It was so much fun.
